GONE is an adventure game prototype developed by a team of five at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy. Players control Jack, a World War II pilot who is shot down on a bombing run over the Pacific. When Jack wakes up, he finds himself washed ashore on a mysterious island.
The game is an exercise in designing meaningful player choice. It features a branching story with several different endings. Gameplay objectives have multiple solutions and outcomes that ultimately effect the story's resolution.
